Supporting our Veteran Community

Our History

The newly formed Kingman Area Veterans Association (KAVA) is proud to host the Kingman Area Veteran’s Parade on Saturday, November 11th in downtown Kingman – just one block north of Beale.

At one point, there was talk of not having a parade this year and we couldn’t let that happen. The parade takes countless hours of planning, and Beale is currently getting renewed so folks thought maybe not this year. A few community members came together to tackle this project, but also to bolster our Veteran Community.

KAVA has plans to host multiple events in the future to honor and support our Veterans. Our goal is to be able to provide additional financial support to our Veteran community by developing grant opportunities for organizations and individuals through our fundraising efforts. We have registered as an Arizona non-profit and have applied to the IRS for our 501(c)3 status.

What Drives Us

Our Mission

The Kingman Area Veterans Association – KAVA – is dedicated to providing unwavering support to veterans in our community who have selflessly served our nation.

We plan to provide annual support of Veteran focused events and resource sharing.

With the utmost respect and gratitude, we pledge to stand by our veterans and their families, honoring their sacrifices and ensuring they thrive in this community. Together, with our community, we will forge an unbreakable bond that fosters a community that continues to uplift and celebrate our heroes for generations to come.
